Jars

You can reuse your bottles and jars for storage such as pasta or DIY nails. Those you can't re-use should be put into your burgundy bin / green box for collection, or you can take them to your local Bring Site. Click here to see your nearest Bring Site.

Jewellery

You can take it to a Charity shop, or sell it to your local jeweller.

Junk Mail

To stop Junk Mail:

  • Contact the Mailing Preference Service.
    Write to: Mailing Preference Service Freepost 22 London W1E 7EZ
    Visit the Website at www.mpsonline.org.uk
  • Place a note on the door stating no unsolicited mail
  • Tick boxes in surveys stating no requirement for further unsolicited mailshot material
  • Send unopened, unsolicited mail back unstamped, marked Unsolicited mail please return to sender.
  • Tell your bank or building society that when sending statements that you do not want any leaflets put in.
  • Tell your bank or building society that you do not want to be on their mail shot.
