Magazines

You should put them in your beige bin / clear sack. Click here for further information on what you can put in your beige bin / clear sack. To order a beige bin click here. If you do not have a clear sack put your papers in a carrier bag and put out with your burgundy bin / green box. We will take your carrier bag and leave you a clear sack. Or you can take them to one of the Bring Sites and place in the paper bank. Or donate magazines to Doctors and Dentists surgeries.

Medicines

Return all unwanted medicines, bottles, tablets and out of date medicines to a pharmacy for safe disposal. Any medicines that have not been opened and are at least 6 months in date, please send to: Jacobs Well Appeal, 2 Ladygate, Beverley, East Yorkshire.

Metals

You should put your cans into your burgundy bin / green box or take to a Bring Site. Take all other metal to a scrap dealer (see Yellow Pages or Thompson's Local directory).

Mobile Phones

Vodafone, Orange and T-Mobile now recycle unwanted phones, chargers, batteries and handsets, so take them to your nearest store or Charity Shop.
